Our Wedding

We grew up just seven minutes from each other, yet somehow didn’t meet until attending universities in different provinces. July felt like the perfect month for our special day, as it’s when we began dating in 2019 and later got engaged in 2025. From braving Snowmageddon together in Newfoundland, to time spent apart due to school and COVID, to finally settling into our new home, our journey has been full of twists, turns, and a couple states of emergencies. We are so grateful for the love and support of everyone who has been part of our story so far, and we can’t wait to celebrate this special day and our next chapter with all of you!

Think dressy but relaxed!Examples:- Midi or maxi dresses in any colour (please avoid white or very similar shades)- Dress pants with a button‑up shirt, optional tie and jacketIt’s July 4 in Nova Scotia — plan for warm daytime temperatures and a cooler evening; a light layer or shawl is a great choice.Overall, wear something that makes you feel comfortable &amp; confident!

Dress Code

To get to the venue from Halifax, it is recommended to take exit 15 (Berwick).  

Accommodations

Room block is under Larissa White and Greg Manuel when you go to book. The block will be held until June 3rd. Check in is at 3pm and unfortunately they cannot guarantee early check-in. There is availability on July 3rd as well. Hot breakfast is included.

Slumber Inn

If you’d like to stay at the Aurora Inn, only an 18-minute drive from the venue, please call and book your room under Greg and Larissa. They will hold the room block until June 12th. Check-in is at 2pm.

As you know, the Halifax Stanfield is the closest airport to the venue. If you are looking for a trip from Halifax to the Valley directly and will not have a vehicle/ are unable to coordinate with the bride and groom to help you out, the Maritime Bus has shuttles that run daily at 5:30pm. Please see their website for all bus stop locations.
